There is political freedom, and spiritual freedom.
Spiritual freedom is something that is a choice, and personal.
Political freedom is a right, and thereby, ‘swearing an oath to a political leader’, is an abdication of that right, whether with full knowledge, or with idiocy, as those who thought it was cool to swear allegiance to BHO, or, under duress of loss of life or limb.
