When we first learned about balsamic vinegar, we made a reduction sauce with butter to put on a steak. It was an absolute revelation!

OMG—that sounds deelish....on steak.

I just bought a bottle of balsamic glaze.
Dribble a little on anything-—its deelish.

Weight Watcher trick: add a packet of sweetener to balsamic vinegar for a terrific salad dressing sans oil.
Can vary-—blender balsamic. sweetener, ripe tomato.

I love to roast asparagus spears, splash them with a bit of the balsamic reduction and put parmesan shreds on top.

This is a fun thread. As a former caterer and cooking class instructor, I’m really enjoying it. I have a ton of cooking tips, if anyone is interested.
