Jon Jones has been stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title and suspended indefinitely following his arrest in New Mexico on a hit-and-run that police say left a pregnant woman with a broken arm. The UFC announced the extraordinary penalties Tuesday night for violations of its athlete code of conduct policy following Jones' latest arrest in a string of misbehavior. "Got a lot of soul searching to do," Jones posted on his official Twitter account Tuesday. "Sorry to everyone I've let down." UFC President Dana White and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta apparently met with Jones in Albuquerque before making their decision, which deprives the promotion of a major star. Jones is widely considered the world's best pound-for-pound mixed martial artist.

Flyweight Demetrious Johnson (Mighty Mouse) is often described as the best pound-for-pound MMA fighter.
It may not be your favorite sport, but the guy is exemplary. he is 21 and 1, with the loss being due to a straight up and down elbow (illegal move).
As an avid fan, I could see him getting slower, since Gustafson fight he hasn’t been as adventurous, sticking more to basics that the wilder stuff he was known for. Perhaps the money and fame just got to him. Sudden influx of cash syndrome.
The UFC doesn’t screw around eh? Any stick and ball sport and he wouldn’t even have gotten a stern talking to.
I got hung up a week ago or so watching a ton of youtube 1/2 hr clips about tragedies that befell famous hollywood (and others) people
It seems almost no one is untouched .... and of course, as a Christian, I see through the lens of scripture and MY DESIRE to be holy (not that I am, but I WANT to be)
