The scheduled weekend home series against Tampa, will instead be played IN TAMPA...

Insurrection has consequences, it seems.

How much is this going to cost the city? Millions?

The cost will be irreparable. Yet we will be fed milquetoast from the Baltimore Sun, WBAL TV/ Radio and other minor media outlets of how fast the city heals and get back on it’s feet.

Sorta defeats the purpose of playing the game, doesn’t it?

Then what’s the point of the game?

Yup, somewhere in the 7 figures. Possibly even low 8 figures.

Before the Nats showed up and the O’s were the only game in the area there were always pregame and post-game meals and activites (not just drinking) in the Inner Harbor.

Which is going to take a big hit regardless of where the games are played. Not sure how many families will be interested in going to the aquarium in the next few weeks.

The Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox will play the finale of their three-game series Wednesday at Camden Yards in a game that will be closed to the public.

Wow...it's going to look like an Indians game.

This tells me the ferals are in charge, and not the mayor.

No problem. Under a Democrat Party regime they'll just raise taxes on somebody or on some thing in the city. The trouble is that there aren't that many taxpayers left in Baltimore so they'll go begging to Annapolis and start making it a "civil rights" issue until they get their money.

...public not welcome? Great confidence in the national guard there, bozos. I would hope that the people of Baltimore reward their team for such a brave action by making sure the team knows they are not welcome either.

Odd word when the first two still have to be played.

This idiot mayor should be in jail.

They should give free tickets to all the looters. Then have a mass arrest as they try to leave the stadium. Or just lock them in the stadium for 5-10 years.

IF the employee-citizens of Baltimore hurt by their neighbors’ thuggery won’t rise up to protest against the rioters, then they are actually part of the problem and will suffer financially for it. If the problems persist into the summer, the O’s should look to move their franchise back to St.Louis when they were the St. LOUIS Browns. (OH wait. FERGUSON IS st. Louis, isn’t? NEVER MIND)
