You beat me to it....I remember seeing Blazing Saddles at
the movie theater in town...My friend and I who both had
grandparents that taught us Yidish, we howling with laughter
at the scene. The rest of the audience just looked at us.
I also loved the movie poster that showed the headdress of the chief (Mel himself) that said “Kosher for Passover” in Hebrew
