SANAA, Yemen (AP) Military officials and residents say al-Qaida has taken control of a major airport, a sea port and an oil terminal in southern Yemen after brief clashes with troops.
The officials said al-Qaida fighters clashed Thursday with members of one of Yemens largest infantry brigades outside Mukalla, a city the militants overran earlier this month. The officials, speaking from Sanaa on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the press, said the leaders of the brigade fled.

Another White Mosque achievement for the Army of Hasan.
Now this is surely a false story. We know this because al Quida was decimated, on the run, and without their leader, Osama bin Laden. This has to be made up.
This is why and where “surgical strikes” are necessary, and only reliable when supported by boots-on-the-ground:
If we bomb the oil terminal, oil prices go up because of the perceived effect on prices if supply tightens. This increases Al Qaeda’s yield/profit on the other oil they sell.
If we DON’T bomb the oil terminal, then Al Qaeda sells the oil and generates profits to support their terrorism.
Win-win for them; another big loss in the Obama/Clinton foreign policy s&*t-show. (yes, it’s time to tie those 2 names together on every obvious policy failure!)
...and Val-jar and barry break out the champagne and choom to celebrate their victory!
Wrong, It is not Al Queda, it is IRAN!!
That is probably one I helped design and build. '92~94

There’s oil in Yemen? Or is this for inbound?
So, are these the good al Qaeda who support Our President, or the bad al Qaeda who blew up the towers? Oh, same people? Never mind.
Export Terminal. Yemen makes a little more oil than they use themselves.
Also from this terminal oil is shipped to the Yemen refinery in Aden.
