How many times has there been a “similar mass beaching” without an accompanying earthquake?

Prayers for the folks in Japan, and for peace of mind, they’ve suffered enough with Earthquakes and no doubt will again some day,

An active sonar ping from a submarine or navy ship has been known to cause mass beachings of whales/dolphins.

I would be more worried about the greater Los Angeles area.

A large quake in Southern California is long overdue.

I offer no scientific evidence to back up my theory....just a gut feeling.

And I hope I’m wrong.
