SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- South Charleston Police are searching for a man they say is responsible for assaulting two people -- one who is mentally challenged.
It happened about 6 a.m. Monday. Police say a man broke into the home of Tehrah Edwards. Edwards said the man is her ex-boyfriend. She said he held her and her new boyfriend, Sylvester Bates, against their will and beat them repeatedly.
"He basically beat him to a pulp," Edwards said. "He punched me, had my daughter by the hair. He was like, 'oh you're lucky I didn't gut you like a fish.' "
The man then forced Bates to record a statement in a cell phone video and post it on Facebook. The man's voice can be heard at the end of the statement saying, "Post it, go on post it."

Can anyone out there write a headline these days?
The mentally challenged man was the victim, as was his new G/F and her daughter.
No pygmy goats or bath salts involved?
So is the wanted man mentally challenged, or (is he) one of his victims?
So is the wanted man mentally challenged, or (is) one of his victims (mentally challenged)?
THANK GOODNESS! The grammar police are on the job.
It sounds like the whole group is mentally challenged, except maybe the daughter, about whom little is said.
