The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.'

Spring, Spring how wonderful is spring!

We’ve got a tax themed show tonight and while that could be really funny we’re got a collection of B level shows. Most curious seems to be Marriage in the closing spot. Interesting...

How ya feeling?

Be in and out.......the belated Easter egg hunt for the grandkids is being held here at our house (Why me? Why not after church last Sunday? LOL) and I just discovered that I can wear cargo shorts from two years ago again (Belviq is a wonderful thing), so I'm catching up on some Spring fixin' uppin' to avoid the associated bedlam around here. Then I have to start a pot of Pörkölt-style Hungarian goulash for dinner. So much for my fishing trip up to the dam today. LOL!

We’ve got a tax themed show tonight...

In Usenet's RFC (rec.food.cooking) one thread is about the cuisine that was on the Titanic (sunk 4/15/1912).

Don't know any Titanic shows off the top of my head, but "Escape!" had the "SS San Pedro" for a ship sinking.

I’m great. Taxes were done early...and the refund was small! No spring trip to Bermuda ):

Heading out for a scooter ride in a minute and will be back by showtime.

Another week blew past...you?
