I remember Elvis thought Orbison had the best voice of anyone.

Roy’s sons and Johnny Cash’s son are coming out with a new album of Roy’s as yet unheard songs soon.
Through modern mixing they can sing with Dad.

What a shame End Of The Line was that for Roy with the Wilburys. Such a voice he had...

That scene absolutely creeped me out. Partularly Dennis Hopper. The song was just right.

Talk about surreal.

I’ve always loved this song (and this whole album) but in the last few days it’s become an earworm. Happy to know one of Roy’s lesser known songs is becoming better known.

“Orbison grew up in Texas and began singing in a country and western band in high school until he was signed by Sun Records in Memphis. His greatest success came with Monument Records between 1960 and 1964, when 22 of his songs placed on the Billboard Top 40 “.

I love Roy’s gentle persona and his voice, but don’t think I like this one. I feel so rotten to say that. ;)

"In Dreams" is the song title. Roy had a fantastic voice.

You are right of course but Dennis Hopper calls it “Candy Colored Clown”.
