“one man and one woman.” One flesh. Cannot be separated.

“For the last 5500+ years, wedding ceremonies have been sacred—set apart as holy, and reserved only for those who qualify…one man and one woman.”

One man and one woman, at one time.

“If a homosexual couple wants to get married, that’s their decision to make.”

Here, the writer makes a fatal error in logic. It is NOT their decision.

First, God does not recognize their “marriage”. He reserved marriage for a man and a woman. Genesis 3 and Matthew 19 clearly teach this.

Secondly, the writer does not take into account the state ‘sanctioning’ the marriage. It is not their decision “alone”. The state, in our country the people, must agree to recognize and support the laws. We don’t support this recognition.

Third, the writer makes no effort whatsoever to link our laws to any moral foundation. The foundational laws of this country were tied to Christianity and Judeo-Christian ethics. The past 50 years have seen a steady erosion of that tie.

Unless we “re-tie” our laws to Christian ethics and morals, this nation is finished. We will be no better than the godless Communists and the utter destruction they wreak on society.

Your timeframe and your one-woman provision are historically inaccurate.
