Angle of Attack is a short film looking at a day of carrier landing qualifications by Navy and Marine Corps pilots going through flight school. Naval and Marine Corps Aviators are without a doubt some of the most skilled pilots in the world and if you dont believe me then just ask one. If you enjoyed this video you might also like to see a F-18 pilot demonstrating some Low Level Flying skills on VR-1251 over Northern California before crossing into Oregon towards the end of the video.

When i was aboard the Enterprise years ago, the marine carrier quals were, shall we say, always exciting ...
Thanks for posting it...it was nicely done.
I got kind of a nice flashback when they talked about what it is like early in the morning, before flight ops begin. It is quiet, you can hear the ship cutting through the water, the horizon is gently going up and down, it is crisp, it is clean.
I always did enjoy that time.

“B” tail flash. Kingsville NAS, Kingsville Texas. Home sweet home.
They would have to make the carriers a lot bigger for me if I were a pilot. :-)
Can you imagine trapping on a jeep carrier of WW2? At night? Those guys were some damn good pilots.
Very cool!
Either I am getting old, or these military pilots are getting younger.
