The EPA Thinks You’re Stupid

The folks at the Environmental Protection Agency, starting with a long line of its administrators that now includes Gina McCarthy, think you and the Congress of the United States are stupid. They have been telling lies for so long they can’t imagine that their chokehold on the American economy will ever end.

It is, however, coming to an end and the reason is a Republican-controlled Congress responding to the countless businesses and individuals being ravaged by a ruthless bureaucracy driven by an environmental agenda determined to deprive America of the energy sources vital to our lives and the nation’s existence.

They don’t actually think “We the conservative people” are stupid. In fact they know we aren’t. They only need to keep enough of the right people stupid for their plans to work.

No, the EPA, along with the environmental lobby and their business interests, are banking on the fact that most of the US population has been sufficiently dumbed-down, and will swallow the crap sandwich being forced on them, without realizing that they're being fed pure crap.

Substitute ANY three-letter government agency for the EPA in this scenario, and the method of operation is still the same.

Is there a good reason they should imagine it?

Were I they, I would certainly see no evidence that my reign of terror could not go on forever.

The EPA leadership is (and has been) Jonathan Goober-esque stupid.
Not to mention dishonest ... and Marxist.

The only thing Congress can do that is effective re: EPA is disband it. Eliminate it without “folding” any of its functions or personnel into any other government agency. It won’t be done. It would harm the sources of to many perceived votes and a lot of income to legislators.

Bear in mind that we probably wouldn’t have the constitutionally undefined EPA on our backs if state lawmakers hadn’t foolishly ratified the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A), foolishly giving up the voice of state legislatures in Congress.

Regarding the EPA, while I think that we definitely need to protect the environment, the main reason that the EPA should be coming to an end is this. The states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via Constitution, the specific power to protect the environment. In other words, the EPA is based on 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the corrupt feds have stolen from the states.

We need to repeal 17A.

Yup. While some may care deeply for the “erf”, I got news for them and us. The “erf” does NOT care about us. When we’re done, mother earth will shake off our remnants like fleas off a dog.

That sad thing is that for the most part they're right.
A pitiful percentage of sheeple STILL believe the Gorebull Warming Lie.

Anyone with even an arthritic grasp of science or history could tell that AGW is a scam.

Windmill and solar plants will never be able to handle the demand once these coal plants are shutdown. The cost of converting them to other fuels also would include years of permitting and environmental approvals from the EPA. We should soon expect rolling blackouts.

50 shades of Atlas Shrugged? There are some go-getters out there that know the value of a hard days work among the youngsters but I look at some who appear destitute or appear totally clueless. And they somehow seem to be able to afford full sleeve tats and mau mau ear piercings etc. And that stuff isn’t free. Guess we, the “makers”, are paying for the art work. Proud to be a 1% er.

I don’t think the EPA necessarily thinks that we are all stupid. I think they just believe that they are too powerful to be defied.
