Formerly the "Quinn and Rose Morning Show" thread, our friendly group continues to meet to start the day as we await the return of our favorite morning talk show - *ON APRIL FIRST!!!! So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

Great news about Q&R!!
I ran into Jim Quinn and he told me he was going to start an internet show too where we can subscribe for like $5 a month. He’s a customer of mine one day when I rang him out at the department store I work at. I was opening a register and I looked up and there he was. I liked his take on the Republicans in Congress where if they “do not impeach Obama (or try to at least), they are just as guilty as malfeasance as Obama is.” He also commented on how Obama pushed his amnesty and also pushing his effort to ban 5.56mm NATO, I told him that “Obama is a Doomsday Machine on two legs.”
Morning! I’m glad we kept the daily thread going. I knew that Quinn would get them back on the air! I hope there is a netcast. I wonder if they are making any plans with their other, former, affiliates. Q&R were so refreshing to listen to. We aren’t ‘groupies’ here. Just a bunch of patriots who like to hear the truth and like it when somebody in the media calls it like it is. I have never met Quinn. Really doesn’t matter if I ever do, but when you’re used to hearing somebody talk plain and open, you kind of appreciate that! LOL!

Yep, I remember that! Never had the time to make it up there for one of those. I never met Rose, but she seems like a very very nice lady. I wouldn’t want to get in an argument with her on political matters!
Mornings have been bland around here since they’ve been off the air! I can’t wait for April 1st!!
Quinn would go upstairs to show a movie and I would stay downstairs and talk to her.
They came to Crafton a couple of times. One of the sponsors was a meat market in the strip. George, the owner, expanded to Crafton and Q&R were there for the opening. Free hot dogs and sausage sandwiches. I briefly spoke with both but the place was packed and everyone wanted to talk with them.
Do you know if they are moving to NY or just broadcasting out of that station?
Yes, very great news indeed! I can hardly wait until April 1. (But I can’t help wondering if it is a cruel April Fool’s Day joke—hope it isn’t.)
Hopefully Quinn will keep tweeting as much as he has been once he is on the air again.
Quinn built a studio in his home in Pittsburgh.
Funny you said that (about the April fools day joke), because I sent an e-mail to them telling them it had better not be an early April Fools Day joke!

Funny, when I mentioned to PaDad thst Q (and hopefully R) were going back on air on April 1, he immediately said “April fools” (he LIKES the quiet in the am).
Other than the one time we saw Rose in Greensburg (at the Tea Party rally years ago) I have never known of any Westmoreland County appearances (except the CHRISTMAS one at Deans which is ALWAYS on Breakfast w/SANTA Day (for GRANDBABY). I too will be happy to listen again (tho I would like to meet them in person).
PS, Rose did speak at my sister in laws Church years and years ago. She spoke about Christian family life. My sil had no idea who she was, but told me “she works at a radio station.” Lol.
