Interesting little film. It's not one of Bogart's best, but it's still rather entertaining and quite funny in places. Some of the humor is perhaps, unintentional (the dialogue is a little out there), but it's still a good little popcorn movie. 6.5/10.
BTW, this one is actually a last minute substitution. I was planning on showing Kanal, a Polish film about the Warsaw Uprising in WW2. Unfortunately, youtube pulled it a few hours ago, dangit.

One of my favorites! Must have seen it at least a dozen times. I hear that Bogart wasn’t fond of it.
Also just recently saw Kanal, on Netflix DVD. I suggest watching before before it another Polish film “A Generation” also relating to underground activities during the German occupation and sort of sets the stage for Kanal.
