It truly is. I made my own dress (hand sewing pounds of glass beads on) but I’d go consignment if I had it to do over.

Once upon a time, women had their wedding dresses preserved so that they could be handed down to their daughters, many of whom were not interested in mom’s gown. Those gowns can now be had for very little money.
