Hmmm..the WTAE to Salem thing...had been pending for quite a while...moving to Greentree...tied to iheart. Iheart is Clear Channel...curious.

More curious is that my company’s building has the entire 4th floor and part of the 3rd floor for rent. Beautiful office space especially the 4th floor.

Curious.

Really can’t see Jim.at Salem but who knows?

Well, no call to “come lets talk at the store” for me or my former co-worker yesterday...so no interview and still no job. We’ll see when we do get calls...they were (possible employers) going their to plan renovations, so our working theories go from “WAAY more work needed than anticipated” (ran out of time reason for not calling) to “WAAAY more work than discussed when I signed the lease...lets rip that paperwork up.” The “reason”’we don’t want to discuss “who wants to hire two fifty-something’s.”

Sigh.

So I wonder too if today is that LAST day of the internets as we know them.

Sounds like your potential employers may have a lot going on and hence the delay in interviewing you. Hopefully they’ll get their act together soon, and good luck to both you and your co-worker.

with people like Jim and Rose gone ... (and I suspected this the day it happened), and a perusal of the conservative talk show line-up ... I can't help but think the effort to stifle our communicatING (intentional caps) was already in the works

I'm not sure WHAT the net neutrality is supposed to accomplish except to put more control on something that should be left alone

I am from the other side of Pa, but I have heard Quinn and Rose’s show when I’ve been out there. I met them both years ago. It would be wonderful if they returned. Their show is very good. They talk principles like Mark Levin, and hold all pols feet to the fire. Bob

My thoughts exactly. Salem is ostensibly a Christian outfit. Quinn may be just a bit too rough around the edges for them.

I looked into the Ham test I could pass it. It the way to go for all us. A portable goes with you...
