I think both fighters are susceptible to big wins and brutal defeats. I know Mir has been talking about the changes in training, mindset, not killing himself training 110% everyday, several times a day and how this has affected his performances in the past. I know he believes this is his time, that he’s fixed things and he’ll show us the best Mir ever.
I think it’ll boil down to whether Mir is really over the hill or not regardless on his training, etc.

Yeah, I don't trust Silva or Franks chins. Either ko, or to the judges.
If Frank does decide to call it quits if he loses he would be a nice addition as a fight commentator. I enjoyed his time as a WEC fight commentator.

I agree that Mir was a good commentator back in the WEC days. I hope he and the UFC will consider that option when he does hang it up.
