Interestingly, under this scenario I predict we’ll see greening of areas like the basin and ranges in Nevada, in Utah, and down into Arizona and New Mexico. The upper elevations will hold snow longer and the lower playa/basin areas will retain water due to lower evaporation rates.

During the real big chills, those basin areas were large lakes and inland seas.
