I was in Walt Disney World in 2013 in off season.
Wasted tones of $$$ waiting in lines for everything.
Went to Disneyland last October and got a much better investment of time and $$$.
I’ve lived in Fla. since 1969 (2 hours north of Disney world) and haven’t been there since the 80s. Haven’t missed it or any other attraction in Orlando at all for that matter.
Saw a documentary a few years ago about how Disney world came about in Fla. There were actually interviews with people that were city council members and the mayor that helped bring Disney to Orlando, to a person they all said if they had known what was going to happen to Orlando because of Disney they would never have voted to go after them. BIG regrets what with all the incentives and concessions Orlando offered just to lure Disney in.
