Formerly the "Quinn and Rose Morning Show" thread, our friendly group continues to meet to start the day as we await the return of our favorite morning talk show - which looks like sometime in March! So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!
Snap! Or should I say COLD snap! Minus 9 here!! brrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Good morning!

Record low for this date in Pittsburgh shattered. -8 breaks 1930’s -2.
In Mercer it’s -16.
I saw that thread and posted to it! Wow! Where’s globull warming when you need it? Hubby just took the dog out. Said dog just squatted, Didn’t even lift his leg! lol! Then hi-tailed it back in the house! Hahahaha!!!
Only got up to 17 degrees yesterday in DC. Set a record, as the previous record was 24.
In keeping with the Global Warming meme, the MSM is reporting this as a record high!
-13.3 here. So I bundled up for the dog as she acted like she REALLY needed to go out for all of her business. Spent several minutes getting dressed, searching for gloves and scarf, up and down several flights of stairs twice. She keesp pacing back and forth, meanwhile I am out of breath getting ready.
She tinkled, and was done in less than 30 seconds. Hope everyone out there is safe and as warm as possible.
I like dogs, but this is why I own cats. ;)
Hubby’s truck started this morning, but had this awful rattling sound, so he shut it off & is staying home. My car is the one kept in the garage, so here I am at work.
Maybe hubby will clean out his side of the garage now? ;)
LOL! I feel sorry for the poor doggies, having to go outside, unlike us with our indoor toity’s! Thank goodness the days of the outdoor privy are long gone!
A Great Lakes freighter, the Arthur M Anderson and an accompanying US Coast Guard ice breaker are trapped in heavy ice north of Ashtabula Ohio. A Canadian ice breaker is trying to cut through 20 miles of ice at 2 mph to reach the trapped ships.
It’s only going to get warm enough this weekend for us to shovel 4-6 inches of snow, then it drops again this week.
I’m moving to Florida.

Niece’s baby shower is tomorrow, at the lakeside lodge of a local park. I hope the weather doesn’t ruin it.
Don’t look good
