Yeah what an ass, having an epileptic seizure and not calling. What a douchebag for having an unplanned serious brain problem. Next time maybe he should marry someone who has half an ounce of feeling for him.

As I understand it, “feelings” as we in the West think of them as important in a romantic/marital relationship, are not important in Indian culture. Most marriages are arranged. Not sure if this poor bloke’s family gets to keep the dowry.

In India most marriages are arranged and negotiated with a Dowry, and all info must be divulged that would affect children. Obviously his family nor he were honest about his epilepsy. The Bride was NOT in love with him, and the man at the wedding she chose was her sister’s brother in law, whom she probably knew well. He accepted showing they would have chosen each other if they could.

The epileptic seizure was KARMA for the guy who lied, along with his family. Probably a huge Dowry and the woman’s father took it and wouldn’t let her marry the one she wanted. GOD INTERVENED AND SHOWED THE LIE.

I think she was brave to take the opportunity to make her own choice....of course Dowry must be returned.
