They’ve heard Nazis on the porch back in WWII, nightly foraging raids, blackout curtains and all. A few haints ain’t a-gonna fret ‘em.
I’ve swum many times near the Nag’s Head pier.
Sometimes in the summer, the dolphins come close enough to shore that you can feel the Alphas beating the water; or, you could throw a ball and almost hit a dolphin, they are so close.
In my opinion, the Outer Banks are the most beautiful bit of coastline that the US has; and there’s amazing history there.
