Russell Wilson has had a solid career so far as an NFL quarterback but his career as a movie critic has gotten off to a rocky start.
The Seahawks quarterback went to see 50 Shades of Grey on Thursday night and by Friday morning, his review of the movie was in.

His idea of a great movie leaves a lot to be desired. No pun intended of course either - but it was fitting.
First Obamacare now this.
I suppose anything that keeps his mind off “the play” for a few minutes is good in his mind.
If Wilson thinks 50 shades of sh*t is a great movie...guess that says something about his respect or lack thereof for women....he’s falling fast
Russell has a wholesome image but he has flaws and I think he has a wild side. I checked his twitter page and he wrote to one young lady “The best things in life make you sweaty”. Also I read where he was dating a girl named “SnowPhat” and her backside could give Kim Kardashian a run for her money.
He is not a perfect man and I think his fans are about to be real disappointed.
It’s a bit unrealistic to expect an NFL quarterback to be a good movie critic when the guy is barely capable of being an NFL quarterback, right?

So this “Christian” goes to smutty movies that celebrate domestic violence. Something is very wrong here.
Divorced his wife after little more than two years of marriage. The Christian act is equine excrement.
Why can’t the kid see what he damn well wants to? Does he need permission or approval from the church lady first?
Funny to see how many turn on this guy because he went to see a movie. Two weeks ago, everybody was yapping that he got cheated out of a Super Bowl ring over his coach’s bad play-calling.
Now he’s a bum because he got dragged into a chick-flick.
Ouchies - that was harsh and funny.
But to the point - its a movie, he is a jock, does anyone expect a deeply insightful soliloquy from a guy walking out of the theater? Ok I didnt read the article, maybe this in an interview. In any case I dont put a lot of gravity into the comment.
Russell Wilson is a human being. Why would anyone judge someone based on a movie review? Just people by their actions, not on their opinions.
Full disclosure...I am a Patriots fan, but this is a little overblown, no pun intended.
He seems like a fairly level-headed guy and a talented athlete.
I don’t know about the Christian angle, something seems amiss there, but I cannot throw any stones at him. The whole divorce thing with his wife sounded weird to me, but...that is his business.
I WILL throw stones at him for backing Obama and backing Obamacare, but the rest of it is his personal life. It is a movie.
