Stuckey’s is all there was through SC and GA on our way from WNC to Daytona Beach mostly on two-lane blacktops. And Burma-Shave signs! Hated Stuckey’s.

Perhaps my standards were not real high, but I seem to remember that the restrooms were always clean.

And they had those towels for your hands that were on an endless roll...never could figure out that one.

Oh wow, I remember those style restroom towels... the local diner my family would go to had those... and the soap dispenser at the sink you twisted the knob and it shaved a bar of soap and deposited soap powder in your hand below... I can still smell it.
