The bill creates a pilot program to help veterans transition out of active duty, and it creates a website to provide veterans with information about available mental health services.

I have to wonder if there's some small print in there that requires surrendering any weapons they might own, including those owned by others living in the same domicile.

Except that vets and non-vets kill themselves in roughly the same numbers. This issues (that gets endlessly repeated) is about making people believe vets are crazy people who could snap at any moment.

We already had one back in the late '60s and not coincidentally, it was called Operation Transition.
Given the number of men who saw combat and the stark differences between military and civilian life back then, it actually had some value.

If obama is in on this; then it will result in disaster for Vets, their rights will be greatly diminished, the suicide rate will double post haste. (ultimately that is the plan)

and it creates a website to provide veterans with information about available mental health services

Let me guess... a $964 million web site that basically tells vets to go sign up for Obamacare.
