That’s certainly different. PSU usually wrestles in Rec Hall (capacity around 8K) and sells out every match.

Once a year (today), they wrestle in the basketball arena, thus the 16K in attendance. From what I hear, tickets are at a premium. Regardless, it will be a raucous atmosphere.

My son wrestled at Tech. Tom Brands was his coach senior year. He described Brands as a very intense guy but Joe very much respected him and still communicates with him. The Tech team has come a long way since those days Kevin Dresser has done a great job as he did at Grundy and Christiansburg.
