You really would have to pretend. Palin and Limbaugh would never abuse the valor of our military.

But were it to happen, all the dems and their media shills would be screaming bloody murder. They would wrap themselves in the American Flag and defend the troops. And Palin and Limbaugh would deserve to be vilified.

The dems and media would deserve no praise. They don’t care about the troops or the Flag, just the political opportunity to destroy.

It would be the lead story on the network and cable news, the lead jokes on Tonight and the other late night shows and Saturday Night Live, and even worthy of commentary on the floors of Congress and that would be with two people who while national figures, give their opinions and not “unbiased” presentations of the “news’ nightly. Brian Williams will not be mocked, at least in those forums, because he is one of the Establishment and they fully expect their people to lie and dissemble if it is in furtherance of the policies they believe in. The objective “journalistic” standards of their media are about s objective of the Volkische Beobachter in 1930s Germany or Pravda in the old Soviet Union. Just like the aged crone Hillary Clinton claiming her parents named here after the New Zealander who first scaled Mt. Everest, Edmund Hillary. The only fly in the ointment was that she was born in 1947, Edmumd Hillary didn’t climb Everest until 1953 and prior to that time was an obscure beekeeper living in New Zealand. If Nixon had said it, it would have been the source of news and demeaning jokes for years.
