Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air - and all indications are that they will be, very soon! As we wait, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

Same here, but I doubt Obozo will get a clue. He’s in full delusion mode. Hey, what’s this I’m hearing about Wolfie appointing Marylanders to his cabinet? Or did I misunderstand?
There was something about wolfie but I missed the story. Wouldn’t surprise me.
Mrs p6 starts next round of dental work today. Just a cleaning and check up then she has to decide what comes next. Probably a cap then partial bridge. Poor gal has put up with dental problems way too long.
I blame candy, cake and other “kid” food.
I feel for her. I started out as a kid with bad teeth. One of my molars cracked in half. The dentist took it out in pieces. I was only ELEVEN! He told me I’d have dentures before I was thirty. Imagine hearing that as a kid! I made it as far as 32, when the top ones were removed. He left most of the bottom. I’m wishing, now that he took those too. My youngest sister had the same problems. Middle sisters - twins - have perfect teeth.
I don’t mind admitting to the dentures since I’m now SIXTY!!! LOL!

Sorry to hear of Mrs P6’s dental woes :( I hope things go really smoothly & painlessly for her.
I was really lucky as a kid. My dad went on disability when I was in grade school, and living in Oakland I qualified to get care (including braces) at Pitt Dental School. They were wonderful and being that their was always a teaching Dental professor chair side, I had only good experiences. I didn’t understand “fear of the dentist” TIL I got married & went to a small practice out here in the sticks. BIG difference. We have a nice older man as a dentist now; he’s good and thorough, but retiring soon. Not looking forward to finding a new one:(
Yinz be careful later...snow over night. And I see from BOTH big JOE Bastardi AND the guys at Accu, ANOTHER substantial snow coming this weekend. One of of these days, the trof will stay west of the Allegheny Plateau and WE will get clobbered.

According to Quinn’s post, Rose is going to be his partner again. Seems like he’s going to bring back the show just the way it was.

It’s been a year and two months since he left the air on WPGB. All the non-compete issues are off the table. He said he turned down a chance to join WJAS in August because he wouldn’t be able to stream the show.
Will there be another spot for Quinn on the Pittsburgh airwaves? Or is his 6-decade career in Pittsburgh radio (KQV, 13Q, WTAE, B94, BOB, WPGB) finally over?
