Some people just don’t get it:
Days before and closer to home, a rabid bunch stood outside a Garland civic center so they could wave American flags and scream hateful things at Muslims arriving for a conference.
The title of the conference: “Stand With the Prophet Against Terror and Hate.”
Call me crazy, but that sounds like a convocation they should be applauding, not haranguing and harassing.
That muslim conference in Fort Worth was a segregated event in a civic auditorium. Non-muslims were turned away even if they’d already registered and paid for the event. A reporter who went to observe the event in such capacity (paid registered attendee) was turned away.
From that same article (which does mention the woman at the Austin event):
“...we’ve had a mere handful of acts of domestic terrorism. And when plans were thwarted, it was often thanks to Muslim citizens who reported suspicions and Muslims in law enforcement who investigated.”
BS. Those muslims in America who knew the Boston marathon bombers recognized them in the manhunt and did not step forward. Later when they were questioned about it, they said that it must’ve been some error, that these couldn’t have been the wanted suspects.
