You can by the same cookie, that is cheaper and fresher at Dollar General.

Why would you buy soy candles. They are soooo easy to make. I have been making my own for over 10 hrs now.

Yankee Candles are nowhere near as good as they used to be.

I don’t do candles anymore, anyway...I melt scented wax cubes and get much stronger fragrance. Walmart has a huge selection...six for two dollars, and you can switch them out as you get bored.

So you are tying a relationship with YC to Planned Parenthood?

You understand that your sloppy writing has people on this site believing that YC is making candles that smell like abortions.

As YC is one of the best employers in my area, and their corporate attorney is a neighbor, I will enjoy sending him a copy of your blog.

You might want to be ready with a disclaimer. And come up with a better way to libel a good company.

I still love Yankee but I get them cheap in Big Lots. I think Colonial Candle and Village Candle are also the best.

I like the candles at Bath and Body Works, but I like melting so much better that I buy the candles and dig out the wax to melt, lol.

We don’t do ‘real’ candles any more, either.

There was a request last year by the spouse that we no longer burn ‘real’ candles.
Two reasons cited: allergic to some of the scents, some wicks, and one doesn’t know which ones until burning them.
And - the possibility of a burning candle toppling over from an earthquake here in Calif.

Sooooo - we now have a large variety in color and size of battery-operated candles, from very cheap to a little more money.
Problem solved.

Now let the Girl Scouts or any organization get busy selling battery operated candles. And keep the selection to a small variety.

Scented candles are foul things.
