Flies buzz around the emaciated body of a lion as it decays in the sun; nearby the mummified corpse baboon lies on the ground- it's head still tilted up as though looking out of its enclosure, across from it a porcupine's brittle spines protrude from its lifeless body.
They are among the dozens of animals which have died at Khan Younis zoo in the impoverished Gaza Strip after they were left without food.
Zoo owner Mohammed Awaida has blamed the Palestinian and Israeli conflict for the tragedy- claiming it meant that staff were unable to feed or care properly for the animals at the zoo.

That’s why they refer to non-muslim people with animal references. That’s why they can treat them the way they do b/c that’s how they view non-muslim kaffir.

Thanks for not posting the pictures. I’m not an animal “rights” nut, but this is ridiculous. If this man could not care for these animals I’m sure he could have gotten them placed elsewhere. Although, I realize that might have involved dealing with Christians and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists and Atheists, so I guess that was all right out.
Arabs/Muslims don’t keep pets.

Abuse or neglect of animals leads to the same treatment of humans.

Yes, that’s right for the most part. They consider them unclean IN THEIR MINDS.
Many also don’t use toilet paper. They wipe with their left hands and, I guess, they consider toilet paper unnecessary since Muhammed didn’t use it but instead prescribed using the left hand. IT’S A MUSLIM THING.
What a shame....Gaza could be a great place if it was governed by conservatives.
He could probably have gotten them placed in Israel. A neutral animal welfare organization could have picked them up if it was too dangerous for Israelis to go into Gaza.
