The City University of New York wants employees at its graduate center to stop using the salutations Mr., Mrs. and Ms., sparking a heated debate about gender discrimination and political correctness. This morning on Fox and Friends, Campus Reform reporter Gabriella Morrongiello, a contributor to The Daily Signal and graduate of The Heritage Foundations Young Leaders Program, shared the latest details on the saga.
In turn, I would call every professor, and the Dean, by their last name only. What’s good for the goose....
At CUNY, we leave our gonads at the door."
The more stories that we hear having to do with the university atmosphere, the more bizarre they become. I ralize that it is difficult to teach common sense, but the seeming total lack of it in their little world is alarming.
Okay, Pharaoh’s
Also heard on Rush today that on birth certificate forms in NY state they now ask whether the mother is male or female.
I want to get off this planet.

‘YOU GUYS - ‘
When I’m at some sort of public gathering: -
a student of any age giving a speech of any sort -
a toast at a wedding -
a greeting to the audience at a community play -
a church service -
etc, etc.
and the greeter/host/ MC - starts with ‘YOU GUYS’
Spouse and I cringe.
‘You guys’ is quite a juvenile greeting.
Instead, how about:
‘You all - ‘
‘This audience - ‘
‘Ladies and Gentlemen - ‘
‘Greetings - ‘
‘Hello - ‘
‘Students - ‘
‘Boys and girls - ‘
‘Girls and boys - ‘
‘Children -’
‘Kids,’ if you will -
You can think of more.
Be nice!
Bomb ‘you guys’ out of the lexicon.
Please - - -
The INSANITY spreads!
