While everyone is gearing up to see the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, the real highlight of this Sunday will be watching puppies play in Puppy Bowl XI, airing Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. on Animal Planet.
For the first time in Puppy Bowl history, there will be two distinct teams. That is, instead of puppies simply running rampant, jumping and nipping at each other. Team Ruff and Team Fluff will go snout-to-snout to battle for the "Lumbarki" trophy, according to Animal Planet's website, while one or more dogs will be crowned MVP (Most Valuable Puppy). And if you stick around for halftime, be sure to catch the kitten show and goat cheerleaders performance as well.
But...GOAT Cheerleaders? *SNORT*
I'm picking Maggie, a Beagle/Dachshund mix. Love!
Will half of the toys be underinflated?
Just scanned over the pictures. Looks like there are a lot of white-ish dogs. That probably will not go over well with some.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Savannah looks like our Maxie..such a cutie..Im rooting for her to be Most Valuable Puppy
Al Sharpton will be protesting outside with signs saying “No Black Dogs, no peace”
The Stupor Bowl holds no interest for me whatsoever, but The Puppy Bowl, now that’s a whole different ball game!!
Whoever came up with that idea was a genius!!!!!
CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!
The Kitten Bowl is adorable too..they keep on showing the commercial here, the adorable little kitties holding footballs, bet none of them are deflated LOL
That whole ‘Puppy Bowl’ thing has to be one of the most stupid things I’ve ever seen.
Having said that, most of the participants are probably of higher character than those in the actual Super Bowl....
They're angling for the Muslim male audience.
Aaaaaa-Haaa-Haa-Haa! :)
