I wasn’t blasting you, OK.. I am just seeing it through different eyes. When my Mom was terminal, she was very concerned about her elderly Boston Terrier. Since the dog was a rescue, Mom felt she didn’t want her “taken” in again by “new” people. Buttons (the dog) had some weird issues involving her food and toys. She also didn’t like other dogs. So, my youngest sibling took her. And... like in this article, Buttons got cancer and passed away almost 6 months to the day Mom died.

No offense taken. My first thought was "what a selfish person to want to take their dog with them?"

Turns out there might be good reasons for something like that... next time I'll read before posting. :)
