They fixed Vicks’ dogs.
Only one remains there as unadoptable, so egregious were the abuses and cruelties done to her.

We adopted our dogs from a local rescue group; they will get the dogs back if anything happens to us. We’ve left their phone number at the kennel where we leave the pups if we go out of town.
I need to get our will changed to provide some $$ for their medical expenses, just in case. They are both sweet, sweet dogs, but one is an old dog (11?), and the other is just a “wild child” with a “flight” personality.
My sister died (RIP) and left her little dog of only about 2 years. I don’t think she stipulated anything but just assumed the family would care for her. Her son (of course, the best in the family) is taking care of her mostly, and the dog right after sis’ death was strongly attached to him (he’s a mama’s boy). If anything should happen further (mostly family issues, the way that crew is), we could take her now that we have no pets anymore. My little boy loves her.
