I’m a retired zookeeper. This happens more often than you’d think, but people usually get away with minor injuries. Except for that idiot woman who tried to pet a wolf where I used to work. The wolf had to be shot so they could get her arm out of it’s mouth.
Wouldn’t it be more logical to let them take themselves out of the gene pool by just letting the animal keep the idiot?
did anyone ever tell her the story of a zoo employee who lost her arm cause she got a little too close to a big-cat cage? I think she was giving a tour that day.
