I have not heard whether the 11 balls in question were actually used during the game.
However, I would imagine that those that were used could possibly lose some pressure from players falling on them during plays, etc.

You can bet that at least 150 million Americans are going to tune into the Super Bowl next week, dwarfing the 115.5 million that watched last year's Super Bowl, looking to see how Tom Brady does with fully inflated balls.
This will be a huge windfall for the NFL and the sponsors who will be running ads. A record TV audience. Huge revenues for the NFL and the football clubs involved. Everybody is going to come out a winner in this.
It's all about the balls.
It becomes a super sketch when they do the spoof on A Few Good Men. That was brilliant connecting to the movie. Plus, the juxtaposition of football to the Marines keeping us safe is priceless. Which one REALLY matters?
