“...it is FUD season”
******************************************************************************************************
Like clockwork, when the calendar says it’s FUD season, the FUD flows. Jeez, depending upon how big the FUD budget is, maybe I can get some of it -— as long as the paymasters allow me to retain my iPhone and iMac.

Edward Snowden: Apple iPhone with Secret iFeature Allows Government to Spy on You

And he's talking (Actually it wasn't Snowden, but his Russian government state appointed Attorney talking to a Russian news agency) about "DROPOUTJEEP" a 2008 exploit that required the agency intercept an iPhone before delivery . . . and insert it manually! That was what Snowden released in 2013 and caused the German government to drop the use of iPhones, even though the had forensic experts go through Angela Merkel's iPhone and found. . . NOTHING! The document that Snowden released to backup his claim, also from 2008, explicitly stated it required physical possession of the iPhone to execute the exploit, i.e., they had to intercept the iPhone before delivery, or surreptitiously break into where the phone was kept without the knowledge of its owner and insert DROPOUTJEEP into it.

Whatever it was 5 to,10 years ago, it’s a “world of difference” now, and has improved so much as to almost be a different product ... so much better!

That’s because the real numbers don’t make Apple look as good to their paid trolls here on FR. These kids are like the other homosexuals that claim, “Heterosexual AIDS infections up 50%!”, when 2 heterosexuals got AIDS from an infected homosexual and now 3 have it; a whopping 50% increase!

If only I could go back to the year 2000, I would go "all in" on Apple and I would be a billionaire today.

If, if, if... The stock market is a crap shoot. Back in 2000, lots of people were laughing at those who were invested in Apple stock. They kept saying the company would go under any day now. I bought Apple in the teens and low twenties, and it has split multiple times. I wish I had gone all in, but I'm conservative and spread the buys around. You go all in on one stock, and you deserve to lose it all!

The report is actually coming out soon, direct from Apple ... but these guys (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners) have to get their report out BEFORE Apple releases their numbers, or else their report is redundant ... doncha know ... :-) ...

In any case, you’re going to see some pretty DRAMATIC sales numbers from Apple!

I don’t believe their “report” is for the “civilized world” ... but for the USA ... :-) ...

The company that samples the data in this “survey” ... has to justify their existence, doncha know ... :-) ...

Of course, the real numbers might embarrass you, instead:

Hmmmm. . .
74 million iPhones YOY 43.1%
21.4 million iPads
5.8 million Macs.

These are, of course, just estimates from an analyst from Asia, based on analysis of shipments of sub-components to Apple's assemblers in China.

The sales boom is not just in the US. . . how about in Samsung's backyard?

Note the comment about Apple having 51% market share in Japan. . . and 12% of the huge Chinese market!
