Imagine if, as you chat with your child’s first-grade teacher and ask about how he decided to embark on a career in education, he told you, “I walked out of jail and into my first teaching job.”
Imagine him telling you that his days in jail and violent protesting were formative to his teaching philosophy.
But the teacher who brags about such beginnings is now a “Distinguished Professor of Education.” Despite his specialty as “Professor of Curriculum and Instruction,” he trains future teachers to dispense with curricula and discipline, as well as tests and grades.
His many books appear on syllabi in education schools.
Yet, as he told the World Education Forum and President Hugo Chavez during one of several trips to Venezuela, education does have a goal: it is “the motor-force of revolution.”
This, of course, is William Ayers, Ed.D., who came into the news during the presidential campaign for his association with Barack Obama on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
It was in his 2001 memoir, “Fugitive Days,” that Ayers bragged about walking into his first teaching job at the alternative Children’s Community school in Ann Arbor, “a school that, we hoped, would change the world.”

Doctorate of Education—not to insult anyone—is hardly the
ultimate academic achievement.
It’s interesting that the education Ayers got is nothing like what he teaches today.
I am puzzled as to why you post this article from 2009. Certainly there are articles with far more research into Ayers and Obama’s plans to destroy our nation.
The reason relates to Ayers involvement with education not Ayers and Obama, per se.

Unfortunately, since our current education system has been influenced to such a large degree by people like him, it has become “the motor-force of revolution.” Libtards teaching AGW and other such nonsense has indoctrinated a huge portion of our nation’s youth, preparing them to make ‘sacrifices’ to a cause greater than themselves, and to denigrate those who do not go along. It was the commies who influenced people like Ayers in his youth, and we now see the fruits of their labor as those original youth-turned-adults are to a large degree running not only our public education system, but the government and all it’s bureaucracies.
Fortunately, I believe that the education system has the potential to be the ‘motor-force’ of the counter-revolution, if we haven’t gone beyond that point yet.

What does this sound like? Here he is the guy behind Obama's autobiography. He is one of the minds behind Common Core. He is a spoiled brat who hates America and has worked to destroy her.
Yeah, he is THE direct threat to our children.
