One FReeper had an apt tagline that said:

Islamophobia - the irrational fear of being beheaded.

If you are not Islamophobic, then you are doomed to be one of their victims.

There is a lot to fear from Islam.

Islamophobia translates into a fear of Islam. What’s the word for not fearing Islam, but despising Islam? Not everyone who speaks against murderous Islam is afraid of Islamists.

I’ve been carrying two more extra magazines for self defense purposes.
Don’t want to have to go to a neighbor’s house to ask if I can borrow a cup of bullets.

I'm thinking Steve Allen here, on the Tonight Show, a quadrillion years ago.

Guest: I don't believe in psychiatrists.

Allen: Oh, but I've seen them.

The media is doing precisely their mission as part of the Marxist Agenda: keep the masses tranquilized.

We saw the textbook case four months after 9-11. We saw it after Benghazi. We’re seeing it again now.

It won’t be long before the MSM will be too afraid to print anything bad about Islam - no more atrocity stories.

I see nothing good with Islam or what good there is— certainly is overwhelmed by the evil connected to it.

The scale is weighted to the negative side, so it is not irrational to view Islam negatively.

A "phobia" is an "IRRATIONAL FEAR".

Fearing a para-military cult disguised as a religion is NOT irrational.

It is COMPLETELY RATIONAL!!!

In the early 80s, I remember taking my kids to the neighborhood park and seeing my first muslim-garbed woman with her kids playing on the swing. I thought to myself, “Never seen this before.” And that was essentially the extent of my thought after wondering if she was hot, seeing as how it was nearly 95 degrees in the shade. I didn’t think to be afraid.

Islamophobia:

If one believes that one is in danger because something bad is about to happen, then it is rational and appropriate to be afraid. One then uses that fear to avoid certain situations.

If one feels that he is being treated unfairly or being hurt or taken advantage of, then it is rational and appropriate to feel anger. The anger becomes motivation to change the situation.

A phobia is an irrational fear. Most people don’t fear islamists, they just want to do (and have something done) about it. And wanting to push back against islam and the atrocities that always come with it is not irrational. The term is just wrong all the way around.

Islamophobes seizing this atrocity to advance their hatred.

Realistic and aware people seizing this opportunity to do the sensible things for survival.

Sounds like the major papers have Muslim owners. Perhaps the Saudi’s did not spend all their oil money on gold plated cars, wine and women.

One need only refer to Col Ralph Peters’ recommendations for dealing with islamonazi terrorism.
Sadly, the west appears not to yet have found the stones for the fight that WILL come.

Islam has been at war with civilization for over 1400 years. We are currently in the latest escalation of that war. It is one we dare not lose.

I guess he has a point, but somebody should point out to whoever’s keeping score that Brendan O’Neill has long described himself as a Marxist — a very unorthodox “libertarian Marxist” to be sure, but a Marxist.

Good Point. If I was in the middle of Iran and spoke my mind about religion, I WOULD BE BEHEADED, PERIOD!

Why is my belief in that irrational or islmophobic, just because it wouldn’t happen in Wyoming, where I currently live?
