Every now and then, something is posted that transports me from my present state of consciousness to a world far, far away ... and yet, (in this case) because I am a vet ('65 - '67), I have somewhat a working knowledge of the subject

And I am reminded of the reality and sacrifice men have made so I can sit here and BE transported ... and I'm humbled to the point that, after I hit 'post' ... I'll need to get away for a few minutes.

These men deserve quiet, memorial thoughts ... at least.
