As an (ex) rock climber, I’d like to point out this doesn’t require a daredevil. With careful attention to technique, there’s very little risk. Lots of perceived risk, but that’s another issue entirely.

Working in construction the PPE they have now makes the risks quite low. I always am concerned more about the issues of rescue than in the task itself.

I would have to have a guy up there get a mild stroke and then have to go get him down.

He does it for a living, how is that a daredevil? If I tried it that would make me a daredevil.

Tower climbers have the most dangerous job in America with the most deaths per worker. Loggers are second.
