Hmmm I thought George P had been in Fort Worth for the past several years.
After leaving law school, he clerked for U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Sidney A. Fitzwater.[26]
Bush currently manages St. Augustine Partners, an energy and technology-focused investment firm in Fort Worth. Previously, he co-founded Pennybacker Capital, LLC, a real estate-focused private equity firm in Austin. The company was originally named N3 Capital and headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.[27] Bush left Pennybacker Capital in 2012. Before entering the real estate investment business, he practiced corporate and securities law in Dallas with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP. In 2005, Bush was selected as one of Texas Monthly’s “Rising Stars” for his work with Akin Gump.
Bush is the national co-chair of Maverick PAC, a national political action committee dedicated to engaging the next generation of Republican voters.[28] Bush is also a co-founder and on the board of directors of Hispanic Republicans of Texas, a political action committee whose goal is to elect Republican political candidates of Hispanic heritage to office in Texas.[29][30]
Bush is currently the Tarrant County chairman for Uplift Educationa Dallas-based public charter network focused on closing the achievement gap in inner-city public schools.[1]
Jorge Busho similarly embraced the conservative base. Then, disregarded them like some one night stand.
Of course they are, but the short attention span crowd suffers from political battered wives syndrome....Give us more as they get their bells rung over and over...gak. The sultans of sham and kings of con all wink and nod as the abused all line up for more.
I disagree...not to the extent of embracing the Tea Party. He fooled some people because he took conservative stances on social issues, but only the SO CON ONLY type voter was fooled. I never ever thought he was a small government conservative.
And after 8 months, his Presidency became about 9-11.
There was no TP around when he was running for office and serving, but if there had been, he would NOT have embraced them at all. Sorry, bad analogy.
Another pro-ILLEGAL alien Texan we can do without.
No dynasties please. There should be no more Presidents with the surname Bush for at least a century.
TX truly believes in all thing Bush though they rejected GHWB for the Senate in 1964 and 1970. Now they are ready for native son Jebbie.
I left the square blank too, but George P. got about the same number of votes as Abbott and Cornball. People in TX truly believe in a Bush.
Cronyn 2,861,531 Bush 2,827,584 Abbott 2,796,547 Patrick 2,724,493 A couple of judges got over 2.9 million
