Woman ticketed after confronting abortion protesters in Downers Grove

A Joliet woman was ticketed after confronting two abortion protesters at a Downers Grove clinic, according to police reports. The woman, 29, was taking her sister to the clinic in the 1700 block of 75th Street on Dec. 20 when they encountered two female protesters who were trying to give them information, the report states. The four then had words before the woman and her sister went inside.

"Later, the woman came outside and confronted the protesters again and pushed them, police said. When one of the protesters got out her phone to call the police, the woman grabbed it and threw it into the bushes, according to the report. The woman also took a rosary from one of the protesters and broke it."
She should have been arrested!!!

I lived in DG for many years.
It's not an "odd little town".
It's a very nice suburban village, clean, quiet, safe, loaded with parks, churches and civic/charitable organizations, conservative Republican stronghold, a great business community, the hardworking middle-class....in other words, always a target for those jealous lefty liberals who consider a place like this "uncool".

This woman is a jerk. My first inclination is to think she’s a plant, sent to make all abortion protestors look bad. If not, she’s entirely unrepresentative of the pro-life movement.
