Mike Smith in Atlanta should be fired at season end, even if they win today and make the playoffs. Which isn’t likely as Carolina is leading 24-3 at the moment. Smith is a nice guy but has made terrible field calls in numerous games this season.

I’m hoping the Browns keep Pettine. If they can’t have the same starting QB two years in a row — they should at least have the same head coach.
I think Rex Ryan may just resign before being fired. And will be hired as defensive coordinator within a week.

If you want to include coordinators, Perry Fewell of the Giants will be unemployed by mid-day Monday. Interestingly, some rumors suggest that one of the Ryans could be his replacement as defensive coordinator. But I couldn’t imagine Tom Coughlin hiring Rex—or his brother—as the next DC for the G-men.
I think the Atlanta coach will be axed, too.

I can’t believe the Yorks did this. Harbaugh turned a losing, lousy 49er team around and made them perpetual winners and playoff contenders. Stupid.
So they’ve let go the best thing the Niners have had since Bill Walsh, and they also moved the Niners, who belong in San Francisco, out of there and into some innane location down the peninsula. Meanwhile another sports facility is planned RIGHT NEAR AT&T PARK - THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR THE NINERS! These owners have turned me off.
