You can put that you are a protected minority, they can’t question you. Just say that you’re Hispanic. Most Hispanics around here didn’t raise their children speaking Spanish for the last few generations.

I read recently the the Irish arrived in Ireland from Northern Spain. So, historically, all Irish can claim to be Hispanic.
