al-Mansour had used Jarrett as the messenger to get out the word about his efforts to funnel Arab oil money to black students and minority colleges

These allegations, as the article forthrightly stipulates, are unproven but nevertheless instructive. Is illustrative of how adept the left is at getting us to fund their advancement. They invariably find ways to use Other People's Money. In this instance the article talks of Arab oil money to fund African-American students (read far left African American students) but we all know that American universities have long since found ways to tap taxpayers, taxpayer supported, taxpayer guaranteed monies to advance leftism on campus, specifically through preferred admissions programs based on race which are further funded by grants and scholarships etc..

We use our universities ostensibly to educate our youth but to a great degree we use our universities as gatekeepers. If a University with the reputation of Harvard, for example, puts its imprimatur on an individual such as it has done with such as Barack Obama and with Elizabeth Warren, it tells the world that these people are worthy, that they have been identified as the brightest of the bright, it tells the world it is okay to hire them in our business, law firms, or to incorporate them in the leadership of our political parties. Has Harvard sold out to Arab oil money? Undoubtedly. If they did not have Arab oil money was leftism so advanced on campus they would pursue the same course because they're funded by now by taxpayers? Certainly.

If you believe as I do that culture trumps politics you should be as worried as I am about the culture on campus. If we lose the battle of the University quad we cannot expect to win the war in the electoral voting booth. If we are funding our enemy, if we are paying for a culture which will defeat us in the polling booth, we have virtually no chance. This even before we try to wage top down war against a demographic tsunami which, by the way, is also being funded by the taxpayers.

Much wisdom in what you say. I do however have an alternative suggestion. Make Universities Obsolete, or at the very least dramatically scale back their power and influence.

Texas' effort to create a $10,000.00 degree program is an example of this. The Khan Academy is another. Technology is getting better every year, and in the past there may have been reasons why people needed to show up in person and pay ridiculous amounts of money to learn things, but we have been making progress, so I say we shove some of it up the @$$E$ of some "progressives."

We need a concerted effort in the various legislatures and elsewhere to defund these institutions by recognizing and supporting less ideological driven alternatives.

That is my best thinking on a response to these communist fifth column institutions. Starve them to death.

The second I heard The Marvelous Magic Marxist Mulatto MF from Mombasa address the 2004 Democrat Convention, somehow I knew the fix was in, sort of a replay of the ominous sweaty, itchy, nauseous all-over feeling I got when JFK gave the keynote address at the Democrat convention in '56.

The guy is the perfect tool for the job of Deconstructing Amerika. He could bugger the Thanksgiving Turkey on the WH Porch, and still no one would dare criticize. Nowadays, the Melanin Force-Field is a much more powerful shield than a coating of mere Teflon.

Nathan, cannot disagree with one word. Back during my younger time I became curious as to how entrenched the left was on the particular campus was attending. Ran a few stances in a couple of classrooms to gain a reputation as a liberal willing to speak up for leftist causes. Was surprised to find people seeking me out for additional leftist causes. This campus was/is located inside a strong Conservative district but the liberals found me quickly and as began to look deeper found that the ones seeking me out were in the favor of many of the campus professors. Remember an American History test especially. One of the questions, on the test, had no definitive answer but left one having to lean left to attain the answer the professor took to be the correct answer. I answered the question, on that test, incorrectly because I took a right stance. Was the end of seeing leftists come in my direction. Cover was blown. Organized ... yes organized beyond our wildest dreams ... Perhaps at a later time will tell of another experience encountered on that campus. Involved a shooting of a professor by a student and yes this was before the time of the outbreak of shootings.

Nathan, forgot something. Also on this campus was an Iranian that was extremely pro-iran after the overthrow of the Shaw. Interesting character, in regard, to current activities. Very pro-moslem was/continues to be this particular character. Remembering gives me chills and causes my hair to stand on edge along the back of my neck.
