Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread, our group been meeting here since 2008. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air but, whether they do or not, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. Two days?!?!? How did this happen?
Well depending upon when my last paycheck arrives, I become a PA Unemployment statistic sometime this week...I gotta say I AM looking forward to NOT working retail the day AFTER Christmas....it’s just the NO paychecks after New Years they will be a drag :-/
Son has last day of HS (til January) today...so tomorrow ill be a sleepy head:) so....

How’s Mrs p6 doing? Is she done with the dental work? Mr S and I are going to look into Aspen dental. We both need a lot of dental work and we both want to be put out!

Well mts p6 is hanging in there. Won’t have more work done for a couple of weeks.
I stole the floating yarn trick from Weird Al. He has a similar video going around where he uses a soup ladle. It looks like a floating ball until he shouts “Soup’s on!”
Basically I used a knitting needle up my sleeve. Fooled the kids.
PAMom...what is the empty bag trick? I need new material.
BTW Joe Bastardi has been a bit off on his forecasts so far this season BUT at least he admits it and explains his reasoning. He is still the best as far as I’m concerned.

Merry Christmas Eve all....I am operating on about an hour of sleep. Didn’t get early leave from work - we were really busy, which was awesome, had dinner with the hubby...then came home to do laundry & pack for my trip this morning.
By the time I was done, it was 11:30...so I was shutting down my computer & it decided to do an update....which took an hour!
So I just dozed on the couch with my little Pookie...Mr Penguin is taking me to the airport soon. He went to bed at 10 pm. He is not coming with me, but I am headed out to Tucson to visit my Mom. He’s taking care of the kitties & all of his fish (mostly angelfish).
:) Hope everyone is well & doesn’t mind my long post.
