That does alleviate the difficulty of the various voices holding key. But it doesn’t help the listener, who is straining every nerve, wishing for the voices to come into harmony, which they seldom did.
I agree. When I first clicked on it, I thought I read it was the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but it only took a second or two listening to it to tell it wasn’t. Whoever put the piece together, did a decent job editing the video, but a terrible job picking the music (I wonder if they did the music themselves?).
